Hi happy Monday  everyone! I  was planing to  have this blog already to roll this morning but i was tired last night i was  not  able to  get it ready  till now. How are your Thanksgiving plans coming along? Personally,  i will be glad when its all over with.I just don't do  well  with this time of year due to so much family tragedy has happened  around this time of year so basically ever year i dread this time of the year and can't wait for Jan 1st..LOL,Well  let's get back  to  the topic of the blog post! LOL sorry i  got a lil sidetracked  LOL

Shelby was my 3rd Maternity session ever and my 2nd outside on  location one.We found each  other via Facebook and that i  put out a casting call..We were hoping to to do  some with her and the daddy but we ended up  just doing  some with her mom and her  like a generation maternity shoot kind  of thing, it was awesome...I really enjoyed this session and Miss Shelby made it easy to photograph her!

Welcome to the world Sweet Baby "B" 11-12-12 | Oroville Ca, Paradise CA. , Chico. CA birth and maternity photographer

 

I  finally got to  photograph  my first birth, well  it was mainly shortly after delivery that i was allowed to  go in and start capturing this tiny little miracle . Monday night about 8:30 or so i checked my Facebook  for updates on the Mommy's  progression and I believe she had posted she was 7 .5 cm dialated . I live about 20-30  mins from the hospital so  i told my hubby and he was like you better get on the road then lol.I was just sure the baby would have already been born by  the time i got there but i was in luck she was still trying to have her when i arrived...I anxiously waited for the news with some of her family members.I was like literally dying inside because 1  of 2 reasons  1) shocked that i was actually gonna get to  try my hand at something new and 2) i  was afraid i was'nt gonna get  good images due to i rarely shoot indoors and  i  have'nt mastered the indoor settings completely  because every indoor lighting situation is diffrent but  i  was able to  pull it off . thank god... and these are some of what i captured.

Trash the dress blowout- May 2012

In May  I went to  my 2nd meetup witch  was Trash the dress.I am so  glad i went to  this  meetup  not only did  i  gain more practice but i  gained  images  that i can use for my portfolio.Some people think meet-ups are dumb and a waste of  money  but its been an awesome  time  and since i  don't  have  a huge group of people  i  know willing to let me take pics , at least i'm getting practice  and at this point thats what i needed.

Hollace~ Maternity session 9/2/2012

I put out a casting call a few weeks ago   for mommys to be  because i'm was lacking images in that for my portfolio.Hollace was one  of the Mommys to contact me  for a session.I was so excited to do  this shoot. We ran out of light and thier lil boy who is so  precious and so  full of ENERGY,  was on the run. the whole time for the most part LOL... We made the most out of the situation and this our results!
